Celebrate 81 years of leadership, safety, and progress in North Dakota's trucking industry at the North Dakota Motor Carriers Association's 81st Annual Convention!

Join us September 1–2, 2026, at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks for two days of networking, education, and celebration with transportation professionals from across the region.

The convention kicks off Tuesday evening with a fun and interactive networking event at Northern Air Action Park (1600 32nd Ave. S., Grand Forks, ND). Enjoy indoor kart racing, axe throwing, laser tag, great food, and plenty of opportunities to connect with industry peers and partners in a relaxed setting.

Wednesday features a full day of educational sessions, industry updates, and leadership development at the Alerus Center. This year's keynote speaker, Brian Fielkow, internationally recognized safety leadership expert, author, and CEO of Jetco Delivery, will share practical strategies for building a stronger safety culture in his presentation, "Safety From the C-Suite."

Attendees will also hear from Randy Clifford, Chairman of the American Trucking Associations, who will provide a national industry update; FMCSA Administrator Derek Barrs, offering the latest federal regulatory and enforcement priorities affecting motor carriers; and North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread, who will discuss insurance trends, regulatory developments, and issues impacting transportation businesses across the state.

The day also features an expert panel discussion on AI, in-cab cameras, and proactive safety technology and vendor networking.

We'll conclude the event with our Annual Safety Awards Banquet, recognizing the companies and individuals who continue to raise the bar for safety and professionalism across North Dakota.
