2025 Truck Driving Championship - Find the Best Driver in North Dakota!

Join us at the Holiday Inn in Fargo on June 21st for the most anticipated event of the year - the Truck Driving Championship! This annual competition brings together drivers, industry professionals, and law enforcement to discover who truly is the best driver in North Dakota.

Event Highlights:

📚 Written Examination: Drivers will showcase their knowledge through a written examination based on the "Facts for Drivers" books provided in advance of the event.

🔍 Pre-trip Inspection Test: Witness drivers demonstrate their expertise by identifying major and minor defects on a tractor and trailer during the pre-trip inspection test.

🏎️ Skills Test: The most thrilling part of the competition! Drivers will face up to 6 different problems that simulate various obstacles encountered on the road.

Drivers Choose from 9 different categories to compete:

  • 3-Axle Tractor-Trailer
  • 4-Axle Tractor-Trailer
  • 5-Axle Tractor-Trailer
  • Tank Truck
  • Flatbed Truck
  • Twin Trailers
  • Sleeper Berth
  • Straight Truck
  • Step Van

  • A day filled with excitement, skill demonstrations, and friendly competition.
  • Meet experienced drivers, industry experts, and law enforcement professionals.
  • Gain insights into the world of truck driving and road safety.

    Note: Competitors must be full-time drivers who live in ND or are dispatched from a terminal in ND. Spectators are encouraged to attend and support their local drivers.

About Mark Schroyer

Mark Schroyer embodies dedication and safety in the trucking industry, with a 35-year career at Grammer Logistics. Growing up in a trucking family, Schroyer developed a passion for the industry early on, starting with shop maintenance and evolving into a professional driver with over 2 million accident-free miles. For Schroyer, safety is a way of life, especially when handling hazardous materials. His vigilance extends beyond personal safety to everyone on the road and at loading facilities. As a member of Grammer Logistics' Independent Contractor Council, he actively supports fellow drivers, promoting a unified, safety-first approach. Schroyer's impeccable record and leadership in the trucking community make him a two-time Champion Finalist for the William A. Usher, Sr. Professional Driver of the Year Award. His lifelong dedication and passion for the industry reflect his ability to represent Grammer Logistics and the trucking industry with integrity.
