2026 Truck Driver Appreciation Week

2026 Truck Driver Appreciation Week

Wednesday, September 16, 2026

Description

For the Miles You Drive and the Sacrifices You Make.

Each year, the North Dakota Motor Carriers Association (NDMCA) celebrates National Truck Driver Appreciation Week by saying thank you to the professional drivers who keep North Dakota moving.

This year, NDMCA is once again partnering with the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to hand out free lunches to truck drivers, with plans to reach drivers in both Fargo and Bismarck.

Help Us Thank a Driver

We are asking NDMCA members and industry partners to contribute $100 per company to help cover the cost of providing lunches to drivers during Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

Contributions received beyond the cost of the appreciation events will support the NDMCA Foundation, helping further its efforts to support education, safety, and the future of North Dakota's trucking industry.

Join us in showing professional drivers that the miles they drive, the time they spend away from home, and the work they do every day are appreciated.

$100 Sponsorship | Help us thank the drivers who deliver for all of us!

Want to Volunteer?

We’d love to have you join us! Volunteers are needed in both Fargo and Bismarck to help hand out lunches and personally thank drivers for all they do.

Come spend some time alongside NDMCA, NDHP, FMCSA, and fellow industry members as we show our appreciation to the professional drivers who keep North Dakota moving.
